Kaitlyn Thibodeaux

LPC

anxiety, depression, trauma-informed, athletes

Kaitlyn Thibodeaux is a Licensed Professional Counselor who is passionate about helping people find peace, healing, and confidence in their lives. She works with individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, offering a safe and supportive space to explore what’s holding them back and discover new ways to move forward.

Kaitlyn is trained in Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), an innovative trauma therapy that helps the brain and body heal from distress at its deepest level. Her approach is warm, collaborative, and down-to-earth — she believes that real change happens through genuine connection and a sense of safety in the counseling relationship.

While Kaitlyn enjoys working with people from all backgrounds, she also has a special passion for supporting athletes and high performers who face the pressures of competition, identity shifts, and life beyond their sport. As a former collegiate track and field athlete at Louisiana State University (LSU), she understands firsthand how mental and emotional health impact both performance and overall well-being.

For clients who wish to incorporate faith into their therapy, Kaitlyn also offers Christian counseling upon request, integrating spiritual principles in a way that aligns with each person’s beliefs, values, and goals.
